More Beach Pics!

This is the place where we stayed. It was just a short walk down to the water. We really enjoyed beach combing in the early morning hours. Talk about relaxing!!!!
I absolutely love these pictures of the girls! They look so young!!!

We drove over to Florida one afternoon just so Holly and I could say that we've been there.

Gulf Shores Girl's Getaway!

The "girls" got to sneak away to Gulf Shores this week for a little getaway. It was an incredible three days of rest and relaxation. I'll post more pics later. I'm sure Brittany will be posting soon as well........

Mother's Day 2009

Happy Mother's Day to the most precious mother in the world! She has always stood by with her love and unceasing prayers. Her zest for life and her playfulness has reminded us kids to never quite "grow up". Over the years, she has tried to create a special bond with each of her grandchildren and they love her for it. She is my mother and she is my dearest friend.
Wow! Am I blessed or what?

Family, Friends, and Finally our own church!!!

Last Friday, I drove over to Carbondale to spend the afternoon with one of my best friends on the planet. Robynne Bollig has been a real homeschooling mentor for me. She's been doing it for 16 years, so she knows how to keep me centered.
Baby Margaret----simply adorable!!!!
While the older boys were at Penn View last week and Emmy spent the night with Andrea, I took Caleb and Zach out for a long-overdue "bubby" day. We had a yummy lunch at Ruby Tuesday and then spent some time at the skate park. I don't recommend this for fearful mothers. I could hardly stand to watch Zach on the half-pipe. (and I'm the mother of four boys?)
On Sunday, we had our ribbon-cutting ceremony at our new church. The rain held off and 85 people showed up for the event! We even had the mayor of Jackson there!
